Data Deletion Instructions

This page explains how to have your personal data deleted from EzCods, including any data we received from Meta when you connected a WhatsApp Business Account or a Facebook Page, or when you messaged us on WhatsApp or Messenger.

1. Delete it yourself, immediately

If you connected an account to EzCods, you can disconnect it at any time and we delete the associated data straight away:

• WhatsApp Business Account: sign in to your EzCods dashboard, go to Connections → WhatsApp Business and click Disconnect this number. We unsubscribe our app from your WhatsApp Business Account and erase the stored access token, phone number id and account details.
• Facebook Page: you can remove our app at any time from Facebook → Settings → Business Integrations. We also unsubscribe and erase the stored Page access token when the Page is disconnected on our side.

2. Ask us to delete everything

To have your EzCods account and all associated personal data deleted, email founder@ezcods.com from the email address on your account, or WhatsApp us on +91 9274201601, with the subject “Data deletion request”.

Please include:

• the phone number or email address you use with EzCods, and
• your store name or Facebook/WhatsApp profile name, so we can find the right records.

We verify that the request comes from the account holder before acting on it, then confirm by email once the deletion is complete. We aim to do this within 7 days, and always within 30 days.

3. What gets deleted

• Your account, profile and login details.
• Any Meta access tokens, WhatsApp Business Account ids, phone number ids and Facebook Page ids we hold.
• WhatsApp and Messenger conversations and their message content.
• Click-to-WhatsApp advertising click identifiers held for conversion reporting.
• Your store’s content, products and customer records, if you are a store owner.

4. What we may keep, and why

We keep the minimum required by Indian law — chiefly invoices, tax records and payment records, which we are obliged to retain for up to eight years. These are kept in accounting records only, are not used to contact you or to build any profile, and are deleted once the statutory period ends. We also keep security and abuse logs for a short period where needed to protect our service.

5. If you only messaged us

If you have never had a EzCods account and simply messaged our WhatsApp number or Facebook Page, we hold only that conversation. Email founder@ezcods.com or reply in that same chat asking us to delete it, and we will remove the conversation and your contact details.
